Information used by the check

When you submit a website, the service processes its domain, your IP address and browser user-agent information. It retrieves your website’s public main-page content and public instruction files, then stores audit findings, coverage, timestamps and a report reference in the website database. Tool-usage records support rate limiting and service operation.

Do not submit confidential URLs, credentials or private business information. Only public website addresses are needed.

Report access and retention

A report can be accessed by anyone holding its unexpired report link. Report access expires 30 days after creation. Expiry is separate from physical deletion: we do not promise automatic deletion after 30 days. Audit and usage records may remain in storage after a link expires. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; we will assess and respond to the request, subject to applicable obligations and technical verification.

Browser storage and external requests

The theme preference may be saved in your browser’s local storage. The site may use a session cookie to protect form submissions. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s font services, which receive network information including your IP address. Website hosting may generate operational access or error logs.

This release does not enable optional analytics, newsletter enrollment or advertising trackers. The public check does not send your website to an LLM provider for analysis.

Contact form, enquiries and your choices

If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, chosen topic, optional website address and message, with your IP address and browser user-agent, in our database. We email the message to our support team and use it only to reply to you. Email links open your own email application; sending a message is your choice.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with third parties for marketing. We keep only what is needed to run a check or answer your message. Our hosting and email providers handle data on our behalf to deliver the service.

You can clear theme storage in your browser, avoid submitting a check, or contact us about your information. This notice describes this website and does not cover the separate data practices of a linked service.
